Volunteer Opportunity
As you may know the Fair Hill Nature Center is a United Way Agency. United Way of Cecil County is kicking-off their fundraising season this year with a Day of Caring on Sept. 14th.
The Day begins with a breakfast ($20.00) at Minker Banquet Hall in Perryville at 7:30am. All volunteers can register at that time for a project with one of the member organizations.
Breakfast will follow Guest Speaker Ken Lewis. At 9:00am all volunteers will report to the organization of their choice to work on a project.
The Fair Hill Nature Center needs a new turtle pen and we have submitted it for our project. If you have some time available consider joining us on this day to help out area United Way agencies.
Contact United Way of Cecil county if you or your company would like to participate: 410-398-7572 or unitedwaycecil@verizon.net
The following United Way codes can be used to designate a donation to The Fair Hill Nature Center.
